DEPARTMENT OF ANATOMY

History of Department

The Department of Anatomy, RMC was established way back in 1958 in the college campus of Rangaraya Medical College. Presently it is situated in the same block. It has well equipped dissection hall with good ventilation and lighting, Histology lab. We have separate museums for Gross anatomy specimens (Extremities, Thorax, Abdomen) and Embryology, Neuroanatomy, Head & Neck.

The department has well furnished lecture gallery with modern LCD projectors and spacious demonstration rooms. Many eminent professors have contributed to this department.

Presently the Department of Anatomy is headed by Professor Dr.D.A.V.S.Sesi M.S, 1 Professor, 2 Associate Professors, 2 Assistant Professors, 3 Tutors and Senior residents.

THE DEPARTMENT WAS HEADED BY FOLLOWING EMINENT ANATOMISTS
