ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES OF PULMONOLOGY DEPARTMENT

• Department under the guidance of HOD, Dr. V. Suryakumari has conducted Zonal CME under Dr. NTRUHS for postgraduates in August,2023.
• Dr. V. Suryakumari, head of the department, has presented a talk on the topic bronchiectasis at National pulmonologists conference, NAPCON 2023, Hyderabad in December,2023.
• Dr. V. Suryakumari, head of the department, has presented a talk on the topic pneumococcal vaccines at State CME at General Medicine Department, kakinada in June 2025.
• Our faculty have given guest lectures at CMEs organised at various institutes-KIMS, Amalapuram and have also given guest lectures within the hospital- anesthesia and pediatrics.
