1. Zonal CME –Programme by Dr NTRUHS ; dept of Biochemistry, conducted on 10/7/2016
2. Participated workshop on “good clinical practice’’ at medical education cell Rangaraya Medical College Kakinada.
3. Postgraduate students Participated in the Zonal CME conducted At AMC Visakhapatnam on 03-04-2016.
4. Postgraduate students Participated in the State level AMBI conference at SMC Vijayawada on 10-09-2016.
5. Conducted Zonal CME Programme on “ Inborn Errors of Metabolism- Metabolomic Profiling” conducted on 27-08-2023
6. Conducted workshop during Erevna 3.0
7. Conducted Workshop on “ABC of  ABG analysis” during Erevna  4.0  programme on  13-july 2024
8. Assisted in conduction of “Good Clinical Laboratory Practices”  Workshop in RMC   on 03-10-2024
9. Conducted Workshop on “DNA isolation techniques – Know Your DNA “ during Erevna 5.0 on 12 June 2025
10. Conducted Quality Training Module  for 4 days along with MELAP on Internal Audit- Laboratory Management services from 4th February 2025 to 8th February 2025.
11. Conducted Zonal CME Programme on “ Enzymology Recent Advances” on 26-07-2025

ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES :
The department is actively involved in MBBS Phase I students  teaching under new CBME regulations including AETCOM Sessions, ECE ‘s and Integrated Teaching.   The department is involved in conduction of Electives for Final MBBS Phase 1 students,  conducting classes and Practicals  for BSc Nursing, BSc Paramedicals ( B Sc MLT, BSc Anaes., BSc MIT ) and Diploma Paramedical students. The department is actively involved in  providing training in Laboratory Management, Clinical Chemistry, Analytical Techniques and Medical Biochemistry to Postgraduates. Seminars, Case discussion, Journal club sessions are routinely conducted in department.
