The Institutional Ethics Committee meeting is held quarterly. The committee goes through the PG dissertations and publications and discuss the ethical issues involved. The last meeting was held on 11-03-2019 for the first ever PhD dissertation synopsis presentation, for IEC clearance. The candidate has recently cleared his PhD. Last year, i.e., in 2018, 99 Post graduates from various departments were given IEC Clearance for PG dissertations (Protocols submitted) and 1 Associate Professor was given IEC Clearance for Scientific Paper Publication. This year, the IEC’s registration under Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (under MoHFW) is in process.
